Where to Find Contact Information for your Lawmakers

(Some suggest that it is better to call local offices when attempting to call your lawmakers – even better to go by in person. Thus, we have included links that provide addresses and phone numbers for local offices.)

Regardless of your location, you can find your senators here: https://www.senate.gov/senators/contact/
or here: https://www.callmycongress.com/ or here: https://www.contactingcongress.org/

Florida’s 2nd Federal Congressional District was changed by the Republican gerrymander prior to the recent (2016) election. It now spans from the Choctawhatchee River on the west, cuts down below Tallahassee and goes all the way down past Cedar Key on the east. A map of the new district is at https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/FL/2.

Our House of Representatives rep is Neal Dunn, his contact info is at https://dunn.house.gov/contact

To find out what committees he serves on, see http://clerk.house.gov/member_info/mem_contact_info.aspx?statdis=FL02

Our Senators are, of course, the same for all of Florida:
Rubio (http://www.rubio.senate.gov/public/) (Rubio also gives out this number in his email:  (866) 630-7106, toll-free in Florida.

and Nelson (https://www.billnelson.senate.gov/contact-bill/offices)
Contact info for Mary Louise Hester, Nelson’s Regional Director (not listed on his website) is  (850) 942-8415.

There are several Florida House districts in this area and I’ll leave you to look those up on your own. You can do so here: http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/…/Repre…/myrepresentative.aspx

Our area is included in Florida Senate Districts 2, 3, and 5.
George Gainer is the State Senator for district 2 (http://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s02).
Bill Monford in district 3 (http://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s03)
Rob Bradley in district 5 (http://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s05)
